You'll never be short of something to see or do at Waterperry Gardens - whatever the weather - or the time of year!
Whether you're looking for a stroll around magnificent gardens, excellent home-baked teas and lunches, a look back in time in our Museum of Rural Life or Saxon Church or a spot of retail therapy, you can be sure Waterperry will meet your every needs.
While we welcome dogs on short leads in the plant centre area, unfortunately they are NOT allowed in the ornamental gardens.

But there are also many other examples of garden design from which to take inspiration, from the rose, alpine and knot gardens, to a water lily canal and riverside walk.
You'd be hard pushed to find anywhere offering such a magical and tranquil environment in which to rest and relax.

If you're interested in finding out how life was lived in the country in years gone by, don't miss our museum.
Here you'll discover a fascinating collection of implements and artefacts from the past, and our very own curator to explain how they were used!
You'll be amazed what you learn at Waterperry's Rural Life Museum!

Sheltering beneath the imposing manor house at Waterperry is our beautiful Saxon church.
A part of the landscape here for more than a thousand years, it retains some of its 13th century stained glass windows and wonderful box pews.
Our architectural gem is a rarity in Oxfordshire, and the whole country.
