We have a vacancy for a person to work Sundays and Mondays in the Gift Barn at Waterperry with the possibility of additional hours covering holidays and the run up to Christmas. The Gift Barn offers a unique range of carefully selected items with an emphasis on quality and British manufacture and is set within the beautiful Waterperry Estate. The job would entail serving customers, pricing, stocking-up and keeping the shop clean and tidy. We are looking for someone who has an interest in gift/interior products and is friendly and confident with customers.

A vacancy has arisen for a customer-focussed individual to join the team on alternate weekends in Waterperry's Garden Shop. The role mainly involves serving customers at the till although cleaning and tidying will also be required and preparation for shop opening at the start of the day. A pleasant and cooperative manner is essential for this position although knowledge and experience of the garden centre business will be a distinct advantage.

Waterperry Gardens houses a superb collection of artefacts brought together by current curator Gordon Dempster. This is a unique and well-regarded museum which has been the subject of recent BBC TV and prestigious publication coverage. There is a need for a trainee or knowledgeable enthusiast to work with Gordon with a view to take on the functioning of the museum in the future. This is not a paid position but it is a rare opportunity for the right person.
