      Museum of Rural Life

      Waterperry Gardens houses a superb collection of artefacts brought together by current curator Gordon Dempster. This is unique and well-regarded museum which has been the sibject of recent BBC TV and prestigious publication coverage. There is a need for a trainee or knowledgeable enthusiast to work with Gordon with a view to take on the functioning of the museum in the future. This is not a paid position but it is a rare opportunity for the right person.

      We are looking for a Nursery volunteer for Wednesdays. You will be sure to learn a great deal working with us so why not take this unique opportunity?

      Saxifrage Trainee

      Waterperry Gardens holds the National Collection of 2 species of saxifrage and are looking for someone to work alongside the curator, in the role of trainee. This is unpaid but the successful applicant will acquire boundless knowledge about these gem-like alpines as well as many essential principles of husbandry.

      Waterperry Gardens offers a great range of high quality courses in both horticulture/gardening and the arts. We provide a superb teaching experience in great surroundings and are always looking for special teachers who want to contribute to this vision.
