Friends helping with pruning at Waterperry

Charity No. 1071953

The Friends of Waterperry Gardens are a group of people who value and enjoy these unique ornamental gardens

The Friends also provide valuable support by raising funds for projects around the estate, including helping to install the waterlily canal, raising money to replace the commemorative bench for the gardens founder, Miss Beatrix Havergal, and funding the new gates to the alpine garden.

Our current major project is the restoration of The Orange Tree House

We meet throughout the year for social events and also to help with the continuing development and maintenance of  the garden. Pruning the cordon apple trees with Mary Spiller, Chairman of the Friends is an activity that some of the friends would hate to miss.

By joining the Friends of Waterperry, members get free entry to the gardens all year round, a programme of special events, 10% off purchases in the plant centre, a monthly coffee morning, quarterly newsletter and the chance to meet other garden enthusiasts. Guests are welcome too, so to find out more why not come along and enjoy a Friends of Waterperry event before you join.  You'll certainly meet a very friendly group of people.
