Courses - Gardening Courses - An Introduction to Garden Design

Whether considering garden design as a career or gaining skills to redesign you own garden, this new twelve week course gives a first introduction to the skills and techniques. Jenny Woods will take the students through the design process.This course also offers plenty of practical experience from measuring a site, drawing up a survery, exploring the principles of good design, understanding how to use hard landscaping and planting, to illustrating your design ideas and setting them out to be built.

This is intended as an introductory course which students can study for their own enjoyment with no previous knowledge required.
