SUMMARY:The Stitched Garden
DESCRIPTION:The gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of textile art inspired by Waterperry Gardens. We are showcasing a new body of work by local artist Rachel Wright following a year long project that captures the essence of Waterperry through her intricate machine-embroidered artworks. Rachel will continue her work through to December and will be demonstrating her techniques in the gallery on the final Thursday of each month for the rest of the year(not December\, date to be confirmed). \nThe exhibition will also feature work by invited guest artists with a focus on the botanical and all things fabulously floral. \nThe exhibition opens on Saturday 19th September\, please do join us and meet Rachel from 2.30pm in the gallery. The show continues through to Sunday November 1st.

DESCRIPTION:Date: Saturday 17th October – 1st November 2026 \nVenue: Gardens \nTime: 10:00am – 5:30pm daily. \nPrice: £4.75 per child\, including a prize. Children must be accompanied by an adult for whom the garden entrance fee applies. No need to book. \nOctober fun at Waterperry Gardens. \nUsing the sheet provided\, look carefully around our gardens to find the sneaky slithering snakes. \nWhen you find one\, place a sticker on the map to mark its location. \nDon’t worry if you can’t find them all\, you’ll still get a prize for taking part! \nOnce you’ve found as many as you can\, take your completed form to the Garden Shop to claim your prize. Please leave all the snakes where you find them so others can enjoy this trail\, too! \nOctober weather can be varied; please dress appropriately for walking around the gardens.
