Friends Of Waterperry

Regrettably, because of the precautions necessary to stop the spread of Covid 19 we are unable to meet for the regular coffee mornings until further notice.  Friends will be notified by email/letter about arrangements for the AGM, talks and visits.

Charity No. 1071953

The Friends of Waterperry Gardens are a group of people who meet and hold educational and social events throughout the year.

The Friends also provide valuable support by raising funds for projects around the estate, including helping to install the waterlily canal, raising money to replace the commemorative bench for the gardens founder, Miss Beatrix Havergal, and funding the new gates to the alpine garden. There are also opportunities to volunteer within the garden.

Their last major project was the restoration of The Orange Tree House but the Friends aim to continue to help developing and maintaining the garden.

Members of the Friends enjoy free entry to the ornamental gardens all year round, a programme of events, 10% discount in the plant centre, a monthly coffee morning, quarterly newsletter and the chance to meet other garden enthusiasts.

For more information about joining the Friends of Waterperry Gardens, please contact the Membership Secretary at email  or come along to a coffee morning.
