The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) Certificate in Practical Horticulture (CPH) is a unique course that focuses on the essential skills needed by budding horticulturalists today.

The course has been designed to give students a solid grounding in horticultural techniques, learning key skills, with the essential theory behind the practice explained. The importance and quality of this course has been recognised by the endorsement of Botanic Gardens Conservation International (BGCI) and the support of The Stanley Smith (UK) Horticultural Trust.

As well as being delivered at Waterperry Gardens and RBGE, the course is being taught in partner organisations in the UK (e.g. The Eden Project, Cornwall) and abroad (e.g. Oman Botanic Garden, Muscat). To ensure that quality and standards are maintained worldwide, RBGE administers the assessment, qualification and verification guidelines.

Delivery Information

Delivery Charges will be calculated and shown at Checkout.

The basic delivery rates quoted on our order pages are to mainland United Kingdom, this excludes Scottish highlands (north of Inverness), Northern Ireland and all offshore islands. Prices for delivery of bulky items, plants and apple juice to these excluded parts of the United Kingdom may be obtained by contacting Waterperry.

We aim to deliver items on standard 3-5 day delivery service.

If you would like to arrange a special delivery i.e next day service, this can be quoted for individually if you contact us.

We do not dispatch on Friday as we cannot deliver at the weekend and do not want our quality plants to be left at a depot to deteriorate until Monday.

If for any reason you are unable to accept delivery personally, please complete the delivery instructions section on the order form giving as much detail as possible. This information is very important as Waterperry Gardens cannot be held responsible for the deterioration of plants that have to be returned to the couriers depot if they were unable to deliver them.

In such cases or if you are absent when the courier calls a card will be left with contact details. You may then re-arrange delivery with them.

Please unpack and inspect your plants immediately on delivery. We cannot be held liable for any deterioration that occurs after delivery.

Please consult our Refunds and Cancellation policy if you have any complaints about your goods and contact Waterperry within 24 hours
