Accessibility

At Waterperry we pride ourselves on meeting the needs of all our visitors.

Access Parking: Access parking is available.

Accessing the House & Gardens: Most of the paths at Waterperry are accessible to visitors in wheelchairs which are available on site. All our buildings are accessible for wheelchair users and others with limited mobility. A separate unisex disabled toilet is available in our main toilet block situated in the main car park. Push wheelchairs are available free of charge for visitors who’d like see more of our beautiful estate. We also have motorised scooters available. Please call us on 01844 339226 before visiting to confirm availability or to book a push wheelchair or our motorised scooter.

The ornamental gardens are mainly flat and most paths are wide enough for wheelchairs. Most paths are gravel-surfaced but this is well compacted, and should not cause too many problems, although some areas may be more difficult at certain times of the year.

Motorised scooters are not suitable for use in the Gift Barn except as access to the Gardens, or in the Gallery where the space is restricted, and there is a risk of injury and damage to artwork.

Assistance Animals: Assistance animals are welcome.

If you’re visiting Waterperry and have any special requirements please do not hesitate to contact us beforehand, so that we can help you get the best out of your visit.

We also welcome any feedback you may have on this or any other area.
