Another local variety raised by F.W. Wastie of Eynsham, Oxfordshire in 1922. Oxford Yeoman is a cross between 'Blenheim Orange' and 'Lanes Prince Albert'. A mid-sized apple with attractive red striation and firm, crisp, juicy flesh. Pollination group C - Triploid. Rootstock MM106.
This large cooking apple is green-yellow in colour, striped with orange and red. It's juicy and acid flesh cooks pefectley to a sharp puree.
Fruits are ready to pick in mid October and will store until January.
