A large, stately, deciduous tree with a pyramidal to broad conical habit. Bright green and slightly glossy foliage, turning golden yellow and coppery brown in autumn. The astounding tulip shaped flowers are produced in June and July with greenish white petals with an orange flush at the base, followed by cone-shaped brown fruits, each bearing numerous winged seeds. Height & spread in 10 years 6m x 4m.
